DEER HUNTING

The Whitetail Deer is one the most sought after game animals on the North American continent. West Alabama is perhaps the most populated area in all of North America when it comes to the Whitetail Deer. Our property is located within 5 miles of Demopolis, AL - a city known for it's deer hunting.

Yellow Creek Ranch offers some of the finest in Whitetail Deer hunting offered in Alabama. With a liberal deer season starting mid-November for gun and lasting to January 31st of the following year, there is ample time to take trophy whitetails. Our property is managed to provide hunters the opportunity of taking a trophy. We limit the number of Deer Hunters and the number of days per week to improve the odds of your success. We do not cater to the masses but to a select few who look for a better than average chance of harvesting a nice buck.

Our farm is planted in food plots that attract, hold and improve the deer herd. Fields are planted in corn, peas, soybeans, clover and more. During the off season, our deer herd is fed extra protein supplements and minerals to increase the antler growth. We have and expect trophy deer! The Majority of our hunts are Rut Only, limiting the pressure on our deer and enabling better success.

Each hunt is tailored to meet the needs of the group. We have houses hunting over planted fields of corn, peas, clover and/or wheat or you may wish to hunt from our ladder stands in standing timber.

Yellow Creek Ranch works with local processors and will deliver deer for processing. Heads can be delivered to the local taxidermist. Yellow Creek Ranch also participates in Project Venison and other local charities to provide meat to the needy. Local processors are available for processing and shipping.
